Mahadevi Ashok Bilebal, wife of Siachen braveheart Lance Naik Hanumanthappa, has urged the youth to stop indulging in ‘anti-national activities.’
While speaking at an event in Nagpur, Mahadevi said that she was upset and sad to hear about the ‘anti-national’ activities that are taking place in the nation.
She added that youth must be prepared to sacrifice life for the nation.
Recalling the memories of her husband, Madadevi said that he got selected in police but joined Indian army to serve the country.
“My husband wanted to joined the Army. He also got selected in police. I heard that anti-national activities are taking place in the country, i am saddened by it. We are born in Bharata and Bharata mata has given us place to live, we are misusing it.”
The widow of the solider wants their only daughter to join the army when she grows up.
“I do not have a son but have no regrets for I have a lovely daughter. And I have one wish-to raise her into a strong Indian who will join the Indian Army when she grows up. That will be the true tribute to her brave father.”
Lance Naik Hanumanthappa, 33, was found alive after being buried under the huge mass of anow for six days. Later, he was brought to Delhi and was admitted at Army’s Research and Referral Hospital. He passed away on February 11.
The entire nation paid tribute to him and saluted his bravery.
