Lalu Prasad Yadav’s Son Tej Pratap Reportedly Filed For Divorce From Wife Aishwarya Rai

Former Bihar Chief Minister and Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son Tej Pratap Yadav has reportedly filed for divorce from wife Aishwarya Rai. The two got married just a few months back, on May 12, 2018. However, Lalu’s elder son has reportedly filed for a divorce in the Patna civil court on November 2. But do you know why or on what ground he had filed for divorce from Aishwarya?

According to reports, Tej Pratap has cited compatibility issues as the reason for the divorce petition. His lawyer reportedly confirmed the same.

Meanwhile, it is said that this development comes months after it was speculated that Aishwarya would be entering politics soon.

Needless to mention, Aishwarya Rai also belongs to a political family and is the daughter of RJD leader Chandrika Rai and granddaughter of former Bihar chief minister Daroga Prasad Rai. It seems there were talks that she would be fielded from Saran in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls. However, we wonder how far this is true.

The high-profile wedding of Tej Pratap and Aishwarya Rai was attended by more than 10,000 guests and was the talk of the town.

However, it was reportedly said to have been marred by a ‘food riot’ that had broken out at the venue, with reports of RJD supporters looting food and decoration items.

Meanwhile, the RJD leader’s family has been in the news for the reported feud in the family for quite some time now. Just recently, reports of Tej Pratap Yadav, who was also the former Bihar health minister, taking retirement from politics were doing the rounds after he had reportedly said that he was hurt as he was ignored in the party. Whatever, Tej Pratap has often been in the news for all the wrong reasons and it seems like he has developed a reputation of sorts on that.
