Kedarnath Bhattacharya, better known as Kumar Sanu, has mesmerized the Indian audience through his soulful and rhythmic voice for a long time now. In the 1990s and 2000s, Kumar Sanu was a popular choice for music directors and film producers. One could see him singing in every other big budget film, and his partnership with Alka Yagnik delivered many super hits.
If we look back, some of his most popular songs include the ones in films – Dil Hai Ki Maanta Nahi (Tu Pyar Hai Kisi Aur Ka), Jurm (Jab Koi Baat Bigad Jaaye), Dilwale (Jeeta Tha Jiske Liye), Pardes (Meri Mehbooba), Aashiqui (Tu Meri Zindagi Hai), Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (Tujhe Dekha) and many more.
In the list of songs, there was one heartbreaking rendition which could instantly take you back the nostalgic lane. Remember the song “Dil Mera Churaya Kyun” from the film “Akele Hum Akele Tum”? This was another iconic song by the singing maestro.
Over the years, many playback singers have tried to create their own version of this celebrated song. However, no one was able to sing it like Sanu.
And now after 23 long years since the initial release of the film, the song has been recreated by Kumar Sanu’s own son Jaan Kumar Sanu. To mark his singing debut in the industry, Sanu’s son has attempted to sing the song in his own style.
The video features Mr. World 2016, Rohit Khandelwal and Femina Miss India International 2011, Ankita Shorey and has already garnered up 2 million views on YouTube.
