Indian captain Virat Kohli on March 30 hit out at the Australian media for “blowing things out of proportion” and slamming him for his statement which they made out to be “categorical”.
The Aussie media since the beginning of the Border – Gavaskar Trophy 2017 have been critical of Kohli and over the weeks have only increased their verbal attacks on him.
Calling his latest statement “childish”, the Aussie media also slammed Virat of being “classless” after he reportedly snubbed the invite from the Aussie team to join them for a beer.
A media houses also had a news calling Virat Kohli “egomaniac” and said all Kohli had to do was “shake hands and move on after the series win” but he instead he “acted like a child.”
Slamming the media houses for blowing things out of the proportion, Kohli in a series of tweets said that his statement only applied to few players and that he did not mean it categorically.
