The entire country is in terrible shock after the details of the abduction, rape and murder of an eight-year-old girl in Kathua region of Jammu and Kashmir emerged from the charge sheet filed by the police. The rape case has kept the country gripped with people from all walks of life protesting against the ruthless murder and demanding justice for the deceased girl.

Apparently, a lot of Bollywood celebrities have shown their discontent in the matter and took it to social media to express their anger towards the criminals, and to support the deceased. They have joined the nation to voice their disappointment and disgust over the ghastly incident. Akshay Kumar, Richa Chadda, Farhan Akhtar, Kalki Koechlin and others have joined the cause.

Expressing her point-of-view on the Kathua rape case, actress Sonam Kapoor has also posted on the social media.

On April 12, she made the following tweet and condemned ‘fake nationals’.

Later on April 13, the actress posted a picture providing her support to the case like other celebrities in the fraternity.

However, actress Koena Mitra did not agree with her comment and slammed the Neerja actress for blaming the entire religion for the case. Furthermore, Koena Mitra was quite agitated at the sudden outrage in the whole country and people highlighting only one case.

When the entire entertainment industry stood in to support the eight-year-old victim from Kathua, Koena Mitra bashed Sonam for her tweet and asked her some questions. In her tweet, she said:

“Any comments @sonamkapoor? You condemned a heinous crime (I appreciate) but gave it a communal twist “Fake Hindus”. Kindly do the same for all. How can you blame an entire religion for this rape? These victims are ours too! #justicaForAll.”

Besides supporting Sonam Kapoor for taking a stand in the rape case, she was quite angry at the fact that people are giving a communal twist to this case. Koena even mentioned other rape cases which had happened earlier in the country but couldn’t get much coverage. Koena Mitra demanded justice for all and not just for the 8-year-old girl rape victim from Kathua. However, Sonam Kapoor has not made any further comments.

Do you think Koena is right? Tell us in comments.
