Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) chairman K R Meena has written a letter to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, seeking an apology for his behaviour during a recent meeting.
Meena alleged that Kejriwal humiliated him in the presence of Delhi Home Minister Satyendar Jain at Kejriwal’s house.
Meena’s letter stated that the CM shouted at him and directed him to leave his office.
“The literal word used by you was ‘get out’ in a highest possible tone with utter disrespect,” the letter said.
He also alleged that Kejriwal shouted repeatedly and claimed that DSIIDC is not property of anybody’s father, and they will utilise its assets.
“With grave humiliation, embarrassment and anguish I left your room. The entire episode shows your desperation and utter disrespect to the system and senior officers. This has happened without any fault of mine as no one could release government or DSIIDC land to a private party on assurance,” stated the letter.
He said the entire “hurt him emotionally and disturbed him professionally.”
Earlier, Lt Governor Najeeb Jung has hit out at Kejriwal and said, “I feel sorry for him (Kejriwal). Because he shows a paranoia which is really of concern. He should mature.” He also called handling of certain issues by the Chief Minister “childish.”
