VIP culture is a common feature in India. In the month of April, there were reports of an ambulance carrying a bleeding child stopped for movement of VIPs in Delhi. This was neither the first, nor the only incident of VIPs blocking the roads, not even letting emergency vehicles such as ambulances pass by. But ideally, vehicles with red emergency sirens are supposed to be made way for first of all.
It appears that Karnataka Chief Minister, Siddaramaiah, agrees with the point to the extent that he took the matter of “allowing” an ambulance to overtake his convoy to Twitter.
To make sure that people believe his camera in case they don’t believe his words, he even posted a video of the same.
In his tweet, the Minister said,
BTP stood by my instructions to prioritise the movmnt of ambulances against VIP convoys; today they allowed an ambulance overtake my convoy pic.twitter.com/zRDtTAb9xK

Before Siddaramaiah went on to brag about his gesture of allowing the ambulance to overtake his convoy, he tried to set enough background through the first line in his tweet. But witty Twitterati did not take much time to troll him and pull his tweet to pieces.
Here are some of the most amazing responses to Siddaramaiah’s tweet:
@CMofKarnataka So this is a big achievement haan? Come on it’s basic common sense to give ambulance priority!Advertisement
