If anyone knows how to be spot on with his replies, it’s Karan Johar. Time and again, the director has proved that his words reek of wittiness and sass. Given his personality, I feel so very thrilled to say that he is anything but conventional. From being a successful director to being a fabulous host, Karan has had his share of success. His versatility is clear as the star has presently turned into a Radio Jockey. And guess what? Recently, Swara Bhasker gave a shout to KJo on his popular radio show, Calling Karan. It seems that the actress wanted some enlightenment on how to deal with trolls. And believe me, you’ll love Karan’s advice to Swara.
Remember the popular scene from Veere Di Wedding? Yeah, the Swara Bhaskar’s so-called “controversial” masturbation scene. Peep in the past, and you’ll be more than overwhelmed.
Netizens had brutally targeted Swara, just because of the scene. It felt like the internet was oozing with mean comments and hatred. Anybody at her position would have broken down.
But we all know by now, how Swara gave it back the haters. It was absolutely commendable. So, chill Y’all, things are just gonna get better since she rang up KJo. Oh, for the record, Karan Johar’s radio show Calling Karan is the new thing in the Tinseltown!
Karan, wise and witty as ever, gave a perfect tip to Swara and we think that his advice is pitch perfect!
“Swara, do what I do. I always deal with social media trolling with absolute amusement. The fact that you matter, that’s why they troll you. So I mean, please don’t worry about it. If you want to wear makeup and fight for a social cause, it’s your prerogative, it’s your problem.”
The actor-producer further added:
“They’re just probably unhappy, unattractive and just bored and unemployed, and I think you should just feel a lot of pity for them and move on as feistily and fiery-ly as you always do.”
Karan has been making a lot of headlines these days because of his upcoming venture Takht. The film is a multi-starrer. Apparently, Ranveer Singh, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Vicky Kaushal will be gracing the silver screen via Takht. Given how awesome Karan’s movies have been in the past, we can surely expect magic!
Speaking of the wise words which Karan bestowed to Swara, one can say that we have a new professional guru in town. I think that Karan’s advice to Swara was spot on! What do you think?
