Well, with the release of the trailer of the film ‘Dhadak’, Karan Johar introduced Sridevi’s daughter Janhvi Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khatter to the industry. Among the buzzes, the trailer got released to mixed responses from the audience. Apparently, ‘Dhadak’ is Bollywood remake of the superhit Marathi film ‘Sairat’ that was released in 2016. While there was a section of the audience who called ‘Dhadak’ a ‘cheap rip-off’ of ‘Sairat’, there were others who seemed excited to watch the film.
The movie is set in the Rajasthani background and tells the story of two people who fell in love against all odds of societal pressures. And we must tell you one more interesting similarity between ‘Dhadak’ and ‘Sairat’.
The music composers Ajay-Atul who gave soulful music to Sairat were assigned the job to compose music for Dhadak as well. So, to everyone’s amazement, the music composer duo recreated one of the most popular Marathi songs ‘Zingaat’ from the film ‘Sairat’ in Hindi for ‘Dhadak’.
Film Producer Karan Johar recently released the video of the Hindi version of ‘Zingaat’ song on his social media account. Take a look:
Come on! It’s time to do the #Zingaat!💃

Unexpectedly, the social media users are not so impressed by the newly recreated version of the song ‘Zingaat’ and ended up trolling Karan Johar. Netizens are outrageously slamming the producer for ‘ruining’ the classic hit song.

Since netizens have expressed their discontent towards the recreation of the song, they have posted hate comments against Karan Johar with hashtag #Zingaatruined.

Lyrics is pathetic!
Lyrics is so pathetic unlike the original one which had a brilliant lyrics…and choreography was not needed at all it ruined the spontaneity which was an attraction of the original song.
