Karan Johar is going to turn 46 this week and the director-producer might celebrate his day in the city of New York. These days Karan is busy promoting his Netflix film “Lust Stories” – a film based on four different tales by four film-makers including Zoya Akhtar, Anurag Kashyap, and Dibakar Banerjee and Karan himself. It is a known fact that he is famous for weaving the tales of love and romance. Over the past two decades now, his films including “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai”, “Student of the Year” and many more have set benchmarks in the Indian film industry.
Karan is not only known to have developed important relationships with his co-workers but fans as well. He now has a huge fan following who not only loves the way he presents stories on the silver screen, but also the way he gives relationship advice on his radio show. His popular show “Calling Karan” which broadcasts on Ishq FM, has been loved by the listeners of the show.
The radio show host recently put a picture of an award that he received for his show ‘Calling Karan’, on his Instagram account. Here is the picture Karan shared on Instagram.
What was surprising is that soon after he shared his award picture, people started slamming him. Not only people called him a gay but also slammed the concept of his show. They are also criticised him for the relationship suggestions he gives to his callers, calling them fake and even declaring the award fake.
Take a look at the comments below!
Looks like people are not ready accept the fact that Karan won this award due to the show’s content. They are rather fixed on a perception that right from the show’s script to callers including the award is fake.
