Karan Johar is a man of many talents. Starting out as a director, he is now a great screenwriter, producer, costume designer and also a TV personality. He has also tried his hand at acting.
And given that the celeb has to manage a million things, his lifestyle sure is no piece of cake. In spite of all the chaos, it is important for celebs to look their best fit self every time they step out of the door.
We are sure having to manage two little kids does not make things any easier. Hence, losing weight was not an easy feat for Karan Johar, but he did manage to do it anyway. As per reports, this was all thanks to fitness consultant-weight loss trainer Kunal Gir.
Gir charted out a dedicated plan for the director which Karan followed to the ‘T’. In a discussion with Vogue, this is what Gir said about the celeb’s regime:
“We alternate between weight training and water workout four times a week. When we first met, Karan told me he enjoyed swimming, so I’ve tried to incorporate a high intensity cardio session in the water as a substitute to regular cardio—and it’s a lot more intense.”
Karan Johar is a hard-worker and there is no doubt in that. Karan is also very cautious about what he eats and how it affects his body. Gir further added about Johar’s diet:
“He eats every three hours. He only eats food cooked in macadamia nut oil, and his fibre intake has increased since his body now responds to higher amounts of fibre.”

It is super impressive, that despite an erratic lifestyle Karan managed to stick to his diet and workout regime. All the dedication, hard work, and discipline paid off when Karan lost a whopping 17 kgs in a matter of 4 months. He also lost over 11 inches of waistline.
