Kapil Sharma, the King of Comedy has quite rightfully earned a new title – The ‘King of Controversies!’ As if fights with colleagues (Sunil Grover), tussles with celebrities and disagreements with productions were not enough, the actor-comedian seems to be like a trouble magnet. Not a very long time ago, Kapil was in the news for breaking the traffic rules during a visit to his hometown, Amritsar.  Kapil Sharma has yet again gotten himself into a new trouble.

He was in Dubai to promote the Peshawar Zalmi franchise of PSL or Pakistan Super League ahead of its third season recently. Reportedly, the actor-comedian performed for the players who enjoyed every bit of his hilarious presentation.

An image of Kapil Sharma along with skipper Darren Sammy and Javed Afridi who is the chairman of Peshawar Zalmi was shared on Twitter. The image was shared on the official page of Peshawar Zalmi and that did not go well with his fans back in India.

Actually, Peshawar Zalmi is a popular Pakistani T20 cricket team. They play in the Pakistan Super League, representing Peshawar – the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. Fans back in India called this move a “desperate” attempt to gain fame and money. They expressed their anger quite boldly. Take a look at some of the tweets below:

Kapil Sharma has not reacted or come out with any clarifications yet. So much to curb an already not-so-great-public-image. Kapil is returning with his much-talked-about return to TV with a new show “Family Time With Kapil Sharma” in mid of March.
