Kangana Ranaut is one of the most bad-ass and straightforward actresses in the Indian film industry. The actress shot for her debut movie ‘Gangster’ when she was just seventeen years old. Even though she was so young, she managed to ace her character and won critical acclaim for her performance.

Kangana has come very far and has become one of the highest paid actresses in the business. She has always sought to partake in off-beat and diverse projects. Her filmography is a testament to the fact that she is a risk taker and loves to explore different genres.

‘Manikarnika’ is an Indian epic biographical movie which is based on life and fight of Rani Lakshmibai of Jhansi. Kangana Ranaut is playing the titular character for which she also underwent sword training.

Kangana will have to go intense training to fit into the character of a Kabaddi player. A source was quoted by Filmfare saying:

“Ashwiny is screening national level kabaddi champions profiled to find the one who can handhold Kangana through the sport. While Kangana has already started practicing yoga to be able to master holding breath, a pre-requisite of the game, the prep will see her learning different kinds of holds and kicks. Learning the crocodile hold and wrist catch will be crucial.”

The source further added:

“She will also need to undergo a change in terms of her physique. She will learn about the various lives of kabaddi players and their challenges.”

Audiences are bound to get their fill of Kangana’s amazing skills with such brilliant upcoming projects. We are definitely waiting for ‘Manikarnika‘ to release, aren’t you?
