Kangana Ranaut is the poster girl for every unconventional film in Bollywood. She is one lady who has always spoken her heart out, be it her films or any ongoing affair. She always remains in headlines for her direct opinions. Controversies and Kangana walk hand-in-hand! This time too, the actress has done something which made it to the headlines again. This controversy is related to her upcoming film ‘Manikarnika’. The film has already completed its shooting except some patchwork scenes which still remains.
However, it is being said that the actress had to take the responsibilities on her shoulder. Reportedly, the director of the film was unavailable to shoot the patchwork scenes. Therefore, Kangana Ranaut took the responsibilities on her shoulders and continued directing the remaining part of the film.
A picture started doing rounds on the internet recently in which Kangana’s name could be seen written on the clapperboard. Take a look at the picture below:

This further reminded people of Kangana’s fight with Apurva Asrani over the writing credits for her movie ‘Simran’. Kangana and Asrani had indulged in a war of words on the social media, as he claimed that Kangana had not written the screenplay for any part of the film.
To clear the current situation, the film’s team has now issued a statement on Kangana’s Instagram account. The image’s caption read:

Krish Jagarlamudi is the director of #Manikarnika and will remain so. #KanganaRanaut has stepped in to shoot just the patchwork on his behalf while he fulfills his commitments in another movie, to make sure that #Manikarnika releases on 25th Jan 2019. The clapboard is merely to avoid on set confusion
Well, we hope Kangana must have done her job as a director with the same sincerity as she does her acting.
