In Shimla, You Can Meet PM Modi, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Salman Khan And Gandhiji Under One Roof

Willow Banks estate in Shimla was set up by James Craddock in 1871;  Craddock is generally called the ‘designer and builder of Shimla’. On this historic property, a Gurgaon-based company BM Brothers has set up a wax museum – Johnnie’s Wax Museum.

The museum opened recently and has 16 wax statues as of now. Barrack Obama, Narendra Modi, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Yo Yo Honey Singh (Hirdesh Singh), Justin Bieber, Harry Potter, and Lionel Messi are some of names you’ll see there.

The statues were all made in London and the museum has a blend of Bollywood, Hollywood, music and politics. A tour of this added attraction of the “Queen of the Hills” town costs Rs 250/ per head except for children under five, who are given free entry.

There are plans to introduce more attractions, like Tendulkar, Mother Teresa, Zuckerberg, Beckham, Shah Rukh, Deepika Padukone, Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Amitabh Bachchan and Priyanka Chopra.
