John Cena Joined Shane Watson In Sydney For Cricket, And Even Watson Was Mighty Pleased

World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star John Cena is in Australia and was seen indulging in never ever played game. Known for trying new things, he was seen playing cricket with former Australian cricketer and captain Shane Watson.

The wrestler is in the country to promote his new and upcoming film ‘Ferdinand’, which is scheduled to be released on December 15, 2017.

With Watson by his side, who was teaching him how to play cricket, the 16-time world champion was seen smashing a ball out of the park for the Sydney Thunders.

He was seen holding the cricket bat like a baseball player before missing the shot when a ball was bowled over to him.

The 40-year-old also took to Twitter and posted about the good time he had at Sydney. With such humor and candidness, he posted this on his Twitter handle about his time in the city.

 



 

John Cena was with the Sydney Thunder team, led by Shane Watson, who were preparing for the upcoming Australia’s domestic Twenty20 cricket competition, the Big Bash League, which starts December 9.

Sydney Thunder team also expressed their love for the star and took to their official Twitter handle and tweeted, jokingly, saying Cena might as well hit some big sixes for them at the Big Bash League.

John Cena is currently promoting his new film but is all likely to return to WWE ahead of the Royal Rumble early next year where he is expected to break Ric Flair’s record of most championships (16) and become the most successful wrestler ever.
