The sorry state of campus politics at the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is turning grimmer with each passing day.
Buddha Singh, the Additional Dean of Students at JNU, tweeted on Saturday that his car had been vandalized by those objecting to the “condolence meet for Sukma and Kupwara martyrs” he helped organize.
My Car vandalized & Stone pelted @home @midnight as a reward 4 Organizing condolence meet @JNU & mass gathered 4 Sukma & Kupwara Martyrs pic.twitter.com/A5It1v6tFT

Singh filed a complaint based on which an FIR was registered but he did not name any party or group. In his FIR, Singh stated that those involved in the act were “anti-social elements”.

But, of course, the fingers are already being pointed at the Leftists. This is what filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri tweeted as a comment on the vandalizing of Singh’s car:
If the he car of one of JNU’s deans be vandalised by the leftist students imagine what happens to normal students who condole our soldiers. https://t.co/HTfclW7pib

Twitterati, too, joined in to comment on the Leftist political groups of the university:
@shilpitewari @deepkm10 Such students r not committed to studies but they are mushrooming political activist who get shelter from some political organisations. Sad

Also See

Some martyrs are younger than ‘students’ in JNU who indulge in confining profs & vandalising their property.
Silly student politics. Eh?

Since decades Commie & Naxal infested JNU has been the nursery of terror in heart of capital. #MartyrsInsultedInJNU is a routine feature.

40% Indian tax payers are younger than ‘students’ in JNU who each sucks up 11 lakh/year subsidy only to chant Anti India slogans https://t.co/so2mvVxVkt

@savitha_rao How is #JNU being allowed to misuse the Taxpayers money @gauravcsawant – All for illegal causes ! And parents send their children to study ?

Singh was part of the meeting in which the martyrs of Sukma in Chhattisgarh and those of Kupwara in J&K were being remembered.
The April 24 Sukma attack claimed the lives of 25 CRPF personnel. It was the deadliest attack by Naxals since 2010.
On the other hand, three terrorists attacked an army camp a Kupwara on April 27. A Captain-rank officer and two other soldiers attained martyrdom. The third terrorist escaped.
It should be noted here that in the name of freedom of expression, slogans calling for breaking India are were raised at JNU last year. Leftist students in the university had expressed solidarity with convicted terrorist Afzal Guru besides raising slogans calling for Kashmir’s azaadi.
Naxalism, or Leftist terror, finds its own supporters from among the many Leftist groups in the university as well as Leftist political parties and leaders.
