Not sure if the writers are taking the small screen seriously, but some actors seem certainly inclined towards making their characters life-like and interesting. Jennifer Winget is one such actor who is not only striding ahead with her acting, she doesn’t shy away from going edgy as well. She and her show ‘Beyhadh’ on Sony TV are keeping hope alive for daily soaps.
Recently, Jennifer Winget went bald for the third installment of her hit show ‘Beyhadh’. Along with the thumbs from fans, she might be getting a hike in her remuneration. She is reportedly paid Rs. 80,000 to Rs. 85,000 per episode which will increase to a whopping Rs. 1 lakh per episode.
Seldom do we find actresses play bold negative characters so perfectly. Her investment in the obsessive character of ‘Maya’ is admired also because it is quite evident. The move to go bald that too for a daily soap is commendable as we are aware of the stereotypical popular Saas-bahu shows which usually have a sanskari girl as the central character.
The increasing popularity of Jennifer among fans has landed her another show opposite ‘Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil’ fame Harshad Chopra. This is another project from the producers of ‘Beyhadh’. Understanding the value of such a powerful actor and how easily they can lose her, the team decided to give Jennifer a hike.
She talked about her new avatar with BollywoodLife and informed,
So, this is the third phase of ‘Beyhadh’ and it’s gotten edgier and even more exciting. As far as the look goes, this is the one I’d been waiting on anxiously since we began. I have never ever done anything like this before and this is the superlative of deep diving into a character. It took us a whole hour and a half to finish the look and I am very content with how its turned out. Totally worth it!
Jennifer is considered to be one of the hard working artists active on small screen. Going by the kind of bizarre things happening on the daily soaps, fans are enamored by her charming personality and serious acting.
