Misra made his Bollywood debut in the 2011 biographical thriller No One Killed Jessica, where he played journalist Rani Mukerjee’s boss in the film. He went on to act in several other films, among them Love Breakups Zindagi is the popular one.
But do you have little information about Misra’s backgorund and what he did before joining the film industry?
Prior to joining Bollywood, Mishra worked as an IRS officer but resigned the prestigious job to become an actor.
A Delhiite, Misra studied in The Doon School, Dehradun, and St. Stephen’s College, Delhi University. After his studies, he became an IRS officer, as an Assistant Commissioner of Income Tax and Indian Revenue Service, and worked there for less than a year and resigned to join acting.
