The report stated that the download speed of this city for fixed broadband is 32.67 Mbps which is 57.7 per cent faster than the average of the rest of the country.
Chennai is followed by three more cities from South India, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Vishakhapatnam. Delhi and Kolkata hold the spot for 5th and 6th position respectively. However, the performance of Mumbai is rather disappointing. It stands at the 8th position. The analysis report also identified the cities with the slowest internet and Patna is at the bottom of the list, with Nagpur, Jaipur, and Kanpur being the other cities having slightly better speed than Patna.
