Prominent Indian personalities have always been in the limelight for their comments on various issues. Unfortunately, many-a-times these celebrated names have made comments cold-bloodedly without considering the sensitivity of the situation.
Take a look at some of the most insensitive tweets by prominent Indian personalities that made us go WTF:
1. Amitabh Bachchan
Big B created an uproar on Twitter when he posted a tweet about Mumbai rains. The tweet was considered quite inhuman and ruthless by the Twitterati.

2. Shobhaa De
Renowned Indian author is always the talk of the town for one thing or the other. She has been quite savage with her tweets on social media regarding different issues. In the tweet here, the columnist is taking a brutal dig at the performance of team India at the Olympics 2016 in Rio.
3. Twinkle Khanna
There are various moments when Mrs. Funnybones is not-so-funny. In this tweet, she has mercilessly posted a picture of a man defecating in open while she was trying to promote her husband Akshay Kumar’s film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha.

4. Shashi Tharoor
Congress leader Shashi Tharoor made an insensitively witty comment on the context of the failure of demonetization in the country. At the same time, he took a dig at Manushi Chhillar winning the Miss World 2017 crown which was undoubtedly not funny for the netizens.
What a mistake to demonetise our currency! BJP should have realised that Indian cash dominates the globe: look, even our Chhillar has become Miss World!

5. Ram Gopal Varma
Famed Director RGV posted a nasty tweet on account of International Women’s Day 2017 in which he dragged actress Sunny Leone. Ram Gopal Varma was trolled ruthless by the tweeple for his post.
I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives

6. Sidharth Malhotra
It was quite insensitive for ‘gentleman’ Sidharth Malhotra to post a tweet during the Haryana riots while urging people to stay safe and yet watch his film ‘A Gentleman’.

7. Hrithik Roshan
The actor with the Greek god looks was probably not in his right mind when he tweeted that there were more chances of him to have a relationship with the ‘Pope’ than the other celebrities with whom his name was being linked. Twitterati did not appreciate his statement and he later apologised for his tweet.
Seems my tweet about His Holiness has led 2misunderstanding. My apologies 4 hurt caused 2religious or other sentiments. Was unintentional.

8. Sonu Nigam
Who can forget the series of tweets that singer Sonu Nigam made when he ‘had to be woken up by Azaan’. With the series of tweets, he created a huge controversy on the religious matter which was considered ‘insensitive’ by many social media users.
9. Abhijeet Bhattacharya
Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya is famously known for his inconsiderate posts on various socio-political issues. But in this tweet, he has taken an inhuman take on Karan Johar during Fawad Khan fiasco when he regarded Fawad Khan as ‘Mrs. Karan Johar’.
10. Paresh Rawal
Actor and BJP Parliamentarian Paresh Rawal is popular for his comic timing in many films. But his comic timing was not useful in his tweet supporting PM Narendra Modi. He was later forced to delete the tweet since it was not in favour of the interests of opposition leader.
Deleted the tweet as it’s in bad taste n I apologise for hurting feelings .
