Indian troops offered sweets to Pakistani troops at the Wagah border to celebrate their Independence Day.

This traditional custom is a warm gesture to celebrate each other’s freedom.

Every year, border troops exchange sweets at the Wagah border on their respective Independence Days, and also on other special occasions.

Despite rising tensions at the Line of Control, the sweets were exchanged this year as well.
