The Response That India Gave To Pakistan At The UN Will Make Every Indian Celebrate

Published on 23 September, 2017 at 2:14 pm By

There is no doubt that India and Pakistan are arch rivals, and there is, at least as of now, no scope for these two nations to join hands. The disputed Kashmir, terrorist attacks, and constant rise of fundamentalism in Pakistan are making the relations even worse. India has never taken any harsh step against Pakistan, such as surgical strikes, unless provoked beyond tolerance. New Delhi has always preferred to speak harshly against the rogue state, which is ruled de facto by a powerful military, than pick up arms against it. So this time too India gave a fitting response to Pakistan against the false claims made by its PM against India at the UN.

The 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly is on and world leaders have gathered under one roof in New York to attend the session. While representing his nation in the UN General Assembly, Pakistani PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi accused India of indulging in terror activities against his nation.

While falsely accusing India, Pak’s PM also warned our nation for “matching responses”.

Here’s what Abbasi said at the UN:

“The Kashmir dispute should be resolved justly, peacefully and expeditiously. As India is unwilling to resume the peace process with Pakistan, we call on the Security Council to fulfil its obligation to secure the implementation of its own resolutions on Jammu and Kashmir.

To this end, the UN secretary general should appoint a special envoy on Kashmir. His mandate should flow from the longstanding but unimplemented resolutions of the Security Council. But if India does venture across the LoC, or acts upon its doctrine of limited war against Pakistan, it will evoke a strong and matching response.”

The Pakistan PM went on blaming India for violating the Geneva Convention by committing “war crimes”. But India didn’t stay quiet and gave a very strong reply clearing the fact that the nation will not entertain any threats.

Here’s what Eenam Gambhir, First Secretary in the Permanent Mission of India to the UN, said:

“Even as terrorists thrive in Pakistan and roam its streets with impunity, we have heard it lecture about the protection of human rights in India.

World does not need lessons on democracy and human rights from a country whose own situation is charitably described as a failed state.”

Gambhir completely won the show by giving a befitting reply saying that Pakistan is now ‘terroristan’:
