Of course, they deserve it! Team India, led by the maverick Virat Kohli, beat England 4-0 in the five-match cricket Test series.
It was left-arm-spinner Ravindra Jadeja’s brilliant spell that ended any hopes the English side may be having on a warm Tuesday afternoon at the M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
His figures: 7/48.
The English were wrapped up for 207 runs in the second innings losing the match by an innings and 75 runs.
The humiliation (of England) and jubilation (of Indians) was talked about in equal measure on Twitter.
First, this is what Piers Morgan wrote:

There was a round of mockery of the England team, too:
Jaddu made Kaddu of England. https://t.co/m6ShctdIrKAdvertisement

Hey @piersmorgan , the number of gold medals India won in Rio are now finally equal to the number of test matches England won in this series

Well played India. Very impressive. England went down fighting like a cornered watermelon.

Loss four tosses. Won 4-0. Highest Test score when the three best batsmen failed. Twenty wickets when the best didn’t fire. That’s TEAM 😊👏🇮🇳
