The 75-year-old seller, Muna, got another surprise when Kinjal showed up at her doorsteps late at night.

The magistrate saw the condition she was living in and asked her officials to bring 5 kg pulses, 40 kg rice, and 20 kg flour.

Further, she promised Muna a gas stove, cylinder, table fan, bed, two sarees and footwear to be given under Ujjwala scheme.

Ujjwala scheme is the social welfare scheme launched by the Narendra Modi government. Kinjal has also decided to give a house to the elderly vegetable seller.

Kinjal’s father died during an encounter when she was young. After some time, her mother also passed away because of cancer. She became an IAS officer in 2008.
