The IAS couple have a four-year-old son.

Yunus Khan, deputy commissioner of Kullu and 2010-batch IAS officer, and his 2011-batch IPS officer wife Anjum Ara have decided to take care of Khushdeep.

Ara told the media that the girl will stay with her family.

“We will be paying for all her expenses and meeting her from time to time to know about her problems and solve them. If she wants to become an IAS or IPS officer or choose some other career, we are there to help,” she said.
