Tamil Nadu and its capital Chennai have been witnessing heavy rainfall due to which normal life has come to stand still. Non-stop heavy rain have made the flood situation in the city and in Puducherry critical.
Flood victims are scrambling for accommodation, food, shelter and donations. So far, the death toll in the rain-related incidents is 197.
It is expected that rain will continue for next 48 hours and a flood alert has been issued.
And despite the city being in a crisis situation, the people of Chennai helped others and restored faith in humanity.
Also, they didn’t hold back to help animals
