Hrithik Roshan Takes A Dig At Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’. Overconfident Much?

So, it looks like Bollywood is supporting ‘Rustom’ far more than it’s supporting ‘Mohenjo Daro’.

The media, predictably, hasn’t failed to point out, and draw sinister conclusions from, B-town’s step-motherly treatment of Roshan’s latest. So, Hrithik Roshan, probably finally at the end of his tether, told media yesterday,

It is a good thing. It’s a fraternity. If someone needs support then we must support.

Is it just me, or does that sound like a backhanded compliment? Sounds to me like he’s saying ‘Mohenjo Daro’ doesn’t need support because it’s that good, and ‘Rustom’ could use all the “support” it can find?!!

Who can tell, really? Hrithik’s not really the poster child for honesty, and he sure as shit isn’t known for being straightforward!

I bet Akshay’s like,

Anyway, so the latest development on this front, now that D-Day draws nigh, is that Hrithik tweeted his support for ‘Rustom’. Perhaps, as a last-ditch attempt to save face, or as damage control for earlier foot-in-mouth gaffe! In a somewhat-surprising move, Akshay returned the favour.

Hrithik tweeted,

Bete, tu ser, toh main sava ser! odishanewsinsight

Akshay responded with,

Aaand, the mutual masturbation continues. Ah Bollywood! So predictable in every way!
