Thanks to the #MeToo movement, it’s almost become like a norm to wake up every day with the reaction “Now who’s next?!”. The movement has become like a sword for several women who have faced harassment at any point in their career. Mustering the courage to punish your harasser is a hill-task in itself but Tanushree Dutta has done it. Now, Housefull 4 actress Kriti Sanon has spoken up about it too.
Sanon has taken a stand on the whole movement after many more celebrities have been accused after Nana.
In this movement, the latest name to be outed is director and Farah Khan’s brother Sajid Khan.
He was accused by model and actor Saloni Chopra of sexual harassment and abuse. In a separate incident, actor Rachel White also accused him of sexual misconduct. And after these allegations, Akshay Kumar, one of the actors in Housefull 4, canceled the shoot until “further investigations”.

As of now, Sajid Khan has been accused four times. After Rachel White, Saloni Chopra and journalist Karishma Upadhyay, actor Simran Suri has also leveled #MeToo allegations against the filmmaker with this tweet:
I kept thinking all these years @whitespeaking to talk about this a## @SimplySajidK and what stopped me was that nobody would listen. He did exactly the same with me while he was casting for Himmatwala. Called me to his juju house and asked me to strip. https://t.co/BSNnMFjv9K

Following the public shaming and power of #MeToo, Sajid Khan stepped down as the director of Housefull 4 indefinitely. This is his statement:

Now, Housefull 4 actress Kriti Sanon, who stars in the fourth installment of the franchise, has joined the rest of the women supporting #MeToo.
The Bareilly Ki Barfi actress has urged people to handle the #MeToo movement ‘responsibly’. Read her post here:
Praising women for sharing their stories of sexual harassment, the Housefull 4 actress Kriti Sanon posted two notes urging women not to conceal their identity in #MeToo.
The 28-year-old Heropanti actress urged both women and men to reveal their identity or follow the legal route while sharing their stories! She thanked girls for showing courage and speaking out in the public.
This is part two of her post:
Kriti’s statement comes days after actress Tanushree Dutta accused Nana Patekar of sexual harassment in 2008. Meanwhile, filmmaker Farhad Samji has donned the director’s cap of Housefull 4.
