Harshvardhan Rane Drives Across Waterlogged Mumbai To Help Those Stranded On The Streets

While many people choose to remain indoors and stay safe when it rains cats and dogs in Mumbai, there is a man who chose to set out amidst turbulent rain to help the people stranded on streets. Harshvardhan Rane is a Telugu actor who has acted in a number of Bollywood films such as ‘Maaya’, ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’, ‘Anamika’ and ‘Yaaron Ki Baraat’.

Mumbai was trapped in the utter chaos of heavy rain on Tuesday. The turbulent rains resulted in heavy water-logging on the streets and the entire city was in waist-deep water. On that day and the next, thousands of people were stuck helpless in their homes, offices, stations and other parts of the Mumbai which had come to a standstill.

In the middle of all the turmoil, Mumbaikars stood united and helped each other. One of the people who extended a helping hand to those in need was Harshvardhan Rane. In the middle of the wrath of a fierce monsoon, Rane drove across the waterlogged streets to offer lifts to stranded people.

When it started raining, Harshvardhan was at home, safe and sound. But something within him motivated him to get out and help those in need. Without wasting any time, he drove across the deep waters on the streets of Mumbai to offer lift to helpless people, especially women. By helping people in a time of need, he has proved that he is a hero not only in films but in real life, too.
