An army jawan Om Veer Singh was killed during the encounter between militants and security forces in the forest area of Kupwara district in J&K.
The encounter began on May 10 night as the security forces had launched an anti-militancy operation following information about the presence of militants there.
The fight has ended but, the search operation is going on.
