Karni Sena vandalized public property, terrorized people, and even disrespected women in an attempt at saving the pride of a fictional character. They claimed that there are objectionable scenes between Rani Padmavati and Allaudin Khilji in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film ‘Padmaavat’. Deepika Padukone and Bhansali were given death threats and the movie’s sets were vandalized. And when we thought that the drama will come to an end soon, the Sena stooped a new low and attacked a school bus full of innocent children and staff. The video of the attack went viral and people started condemning their actions.
People who have watched ‘Padmaavat’ have already started claiming that the group has been protesting and hampering the nation’s harmony on baseless assumptions. The school bus attack proved that these groups are not actually fighting for the pride of their community but are trying to threaten people. The angry crowd pelted stones at the bus carrying 24 students, 5 teachers, and an attendant. The students and teachers saved their lives by hiding behind the seats.
The cruel act made common public raise their voice against the terrorizing act of Karni Sena. Just to divert people’s mind from Karni Sena, its supporters started giving it a communal angle.
Many people started tweeting that the men who pelted stones at the bus were Muslims and their names are Saddam, Nadim, Firoz, Aamir, and Ashraf.
