The CBI’s verdict on the case of sexual exploitation against Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim is to be announced on August 25. The police, legal system and administration of Punjab and Haryana are on high alert ahead of CBI court’s verdict in the 1999 rape case in which Gurmeet Ram Rahim is the accused.

While many know him since he rose to fame with his movie ‘Messenger of God’ (MSG), very few are aware of his claims of having trained some of the best sportsmen of India. In a video on YouTube, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh can be heard saying that he has played 32 national games and is also serving as a coach for these games. He went on to say that he has trained many sportsmen that are winning medals and bringing fame to the country.

The video was uploaded to YouTube on September 17, 2016, and it appears that Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh is either addressing the public or media while the clipping was shot.

On being asked why these sportsmen haven’t mentioned him training them ever in their interviews and talks, he said that whether or not they mention his name, he had trained and guided them a lot. He also said that these players were quite young at that time and he has videos that show what he is saying is correct. He also said that he will show the videos of their training sessions with him sometime in future.

Well! We don’t know when that time would come but we know for sure that these players he has mentioned of having trained will be surprised by his claims.
