Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt’s Gully Boy has entered the Bollywood’s coveted Rs 100-crore-club. The movie achieved this feat within eight days of its release. Zoya Akhtar directed Gully Boy is loosely based on the lives of Mumbai’s street rappers Vivian Fernandes aka Divine and Naved Shaikh aka Naezy. In the movie, Ranveer Singh plays the role of Murad Ahmed from Dharavi, Mumbai.
But was Gully Boy only about Ranveer Singh? No, the newcomer Siddhant Chaturvedi was also able to make an impression on the audience through his performance. His Bombaiyya slang and amazing rapping skills, fascinated the audience.
Siddhant Chaturvedi aka MC Sher played the role of a friend, mentor and a brother to a budding artiste Murad (played by Ranveer Singh) in the movie, and people are not able to get over it. Siddhant’s performance got him a large number of fans and the latest addition in this is none other than Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
On February 23, the 25-year-old actor shared a picture of himself along with Big B’s note and bouquet and thanked the megastar for his gesture. Without any doubt a note coming from Big B himself, it is no less than an award for the actors who receive it.

Take a look at the screenshot of the hand-written letter by Mr Bachchan, in which Big B complimented Siddhant’s acting skills and his comfort and ease in front of the camera.
Big B prefers the old-school method of sending some flowers and a hand-written note! In the recent past, the list of people who received handwritten letter from Amitabh Bachchan include Badhaai Ho Director Amit Sharma; Vicky Kaushal for Manmarziyaan; and Ranveer Singh for his performance as Alauddin Khilji in Padmaavat.
