As we all know, the Indian film fraternity suffered a huge loss when veteran actor Kader Khan passed away. His demise sent a wave of grief across Bollywood and several celebrities mourned the loss. Throughout his career, the actor, director, screenwriter, and comedian gave us numerous commendable performances. As movie fans know, Govinda shared good chemistry with his ‘ustaad’ Kader Khan.
Like most other celebs, Chichi too expressed his sadness over Khan’s demise. The actor tweeted about how he felt Kader saab was a father figure to him. But it seems like that Kader Khan’s son Sarfaraz Khan thinks otherwise. Why?
First things first, Govinda along with his condolence message also posted an adorable picture of himself with Khan.
Here is the tweet by Govinda:
RIP Kader Khan Saab.
He was not just my “ustaad” but a father figure to me, his midas touch and his aura made every actor he worked with a superstar. The entire film industry and my family deeply mourns this loss and we cannot express the sorrow in words.#ripkaderkhansaab🙏🏻 pic.twitter.com/NISPM1UMs1

While most of us will find this tweet to be warm, emotional, and genuine, Sarfaraz disagreed. As per reports, Sarfaraz Khan calls Chichi out on the tweet and thinks that his concern for Kader is fake.
This is what Sarfaraz reportedly told a media daily:
“Please ask Govinda how many times he inquired about his ‘father figure’s’ health. Has he even bothered to call us even once after my father’s passing away? This is the way our film industry has become. There are no real feelings for those who have contributed to Indian cinema when they’re no longer active.”
Sarfaraz also informs the media that of all the actors he worked with, Kader remembered Big B most fondly.
“There are so many people in the film industry whom my father was close to. But the one person that my father loved the most was Bachchan saab (Amitabh Bachchan). I’d ask my father whom he missed the most from the film industry and the answer promptly would be Bachchan saab. And I know the love was mutual. I want him to know that my father spoke about him till the end.”
However there are reports that Kader saab lost out on many projects because of Big B. Read all about it here. And do you also think that Govinda’s tribute was genuine?
