After the shocking incidents of Unnao and Kathua rape cases that sent shock waves across the entire nation, yet another case brutality against women (especially little girls) has come forward in the national capital. A report said that a family has received a video (on WhatsApp) of their mentally challenged 12-year-old girl being raped. It has been alleged that the girl has been raped by their neighbor.

In this regard, the Delhi police arrested three men on April 16.

A young man, identified as Bunty, and two of his friends were arrested from Mangolpur Kalan area in Delhi’s Rohini suburb. As per the Police, Bunty lured the girl to a community center in their neighborhood and later took her to an isolated area and raped her.

The two other friends who joined him shot a video, as he committed the horrific act.

The police identified the spot where the girl was raped, from the video. “Bunty has been booked for rape and under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO), and his friends under the relevant sections of IPC and the IT Act for their involvement in the crime,” the police officer said.
