General Bipin Rawat Says Anyone Who Helps Terrorists In Kashmir Will Be Treated Like A Terrorist

The Army Chief General Bipin Rawat issued a very stern warning to all the supporters in Kashmir on Wednesday.

Speaking to reporters, the General said that anyone who tries to assist terrorists in any manner will be dealt with like terrorists.

Furthermore, the army chief warned that display of Islamic State flags and flags of Pakistan, too, shall not go unpunished.

The warning is significant because Kashmiris often shield terrorists by throwing stones at security force personnel giving the terrorist enough time to flee.

Security forces cannot use lethal force against the Kashmiri civilians who throw stones because human rights organisations would then launch their ‘agitations’ against the Army. If the civilians are hurt or get killed, the Kashmiris make a hue and cry over civilian deaths and claim that their helping the terrorists is for the cause of ‘azaadi’.

The actions of the Kashmiri stone-pelting youth hamper operations by security force personnel. Reports say that the forces now want defined ‘Red Lines’, beyond which if protesters step they can be tackled with lethal force if necessary.

During the recent Kashmir agitation the ‘liberal’ media and Pakistani-backed voices in India blamed the Indian Armed Forces for using pellet guns. What they did not talk about were the injuries suffered by security force personnel because of stone pelting mob, the attacks on army units and the deliberate placing of children in the front by the protesters.

Kashmiri protesters wave Pakistani flags and ISIS flags clearly displaying their allegiance to India’s enemy neighbour and the barbaric terror group. Apologists and ‘liberals’ argue that the display is merely symbolic in nature. But Hizbul Mujahideen founder Syed Salahuddin says that the Kashmiri issue is now about Islam and not ‘azaadi’.

The army chief’s warning comes in the wake of the martyrdom of four army personnel, including a Major, in two separate terrorist attacks on Tuesday.

Four terrorists were killed in the operations bringing the kill ratio to 1:1, which is highly unacceptable by military standards. Terrorists attack and then escape often with help from the locals.
