Ganguly Calls Virat One Of His Favorite Captains, Says He Is Going To Raise Value Of Indian Cricket

Bengal Cricket Association head and former India cricket captain Sourav Ganguly on September 15 was all praise for India’s current Test captain Virat Kohli and said he is one of his favourite leaders in the game.

While addressing the media in Kolkata, Ganguly said:

He then further added that when he looks at Virat, he immediately feels that he going to raise the value of the Indian cricket with his intensity, fighting spirit and hunger to win.

In his short span of time as India’s Test captain, Kohli has won seven Test matches and is the first Indian captain to score a double century in Test series overseas (against West Indies).

Kohli would now lead India in three Tests matches against New Zealand. The first Test match set to start in Kanpur on September 22.
