The wait is almost over as we are now less than four weeks away from the premiere of the first episode of season 7 of ‘Game of Thrones’. To make the wait even sweeter, the new trailer for the highly anticipated season has now been released. This means new footage with hints as to what we can expect from the 7th season of HBO’s most popular show.
The new trailer of season 7 promises a snowstorm for the impatient fans. The characters which were gullible at first are back in full-swing as they look rugged and ready for the war. To our delight, the Starks hint at a reunion, and Daenerys Targaryen can be seen crossing the Narrow Sea from Essos with dragons flying by her side.
Wondering why it could be a Stark reunion? Sansa, a victim of tortures of all kind, has risen to power and says at the end of the trailer,
When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives.
The message of “united we stand, divided we fall” is quite clear in her words. We were already running quite high on emotions when Sansa and Jon Snow reunited in season 6. It made up for a standout moment, and it only makes sense that the series move forward keeping this sequence in the foreground.
There is a clear indication that all the realms need to gear up for war. As we see Daenerys Targaryen marching with her army, Jon Snow’s dialogue encapsulates the whole feel of the trailer. He is clearly referring to a real “enemy”.
For centuries, our families fought together against their common enemy, despite their differences together. We need to do the same if we’re going to survive because the enemy is real. It’s always been real.
The upcoming season is going to build up to the final season of the series and will have only 7 episodes, unlike previous seasons which consisted of 10 episodes each. As waiting is getting on our nerves, why not find the answer to a million dollar question:
Who is the real enemy in Jon Snow’s dialogue — the white walkers or fellow human beings?
