Fortis Hospital In Noida Accused Of Treating Dead Patient Just To Make Money

High drama was witnessed at Fortis Hospital in Noida Sector 62 when Meerut resident Anil created ruckus by claiming that the hospital kept treating his wife, who had died four days ago.

Anil said he got to know about her wife’s death when a doctor of another hospital and ambulance accompanied him to Fortis.

Anil’s wife was suffering from tumour in uterus. Around a month back, he got her operated in a hospital in Meerut. But he then admitted her to Fortis. After the infection spread inside her body, she was kept on ventilator.

Anil claimed that in the name of treating her, he was given a bill of Rs 1.5 lakh every day.

When Anil enquired about her health, the doctors always told him that she’ll be alright.



Perturbed over this, Anil took her to another hospital along with ventilator. However, he soon found out that his wife was no more.

In a statement, Fortis said the woman was brought to hospital in a state of multi-organ failure. She was on dialysis, but her relatives insisted on taking her to another hospital. So, after completing the process of leave against medical advise the hospital gave them the permission to take her with them.
