Congressmen never fail an opportunity to blame Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his government for any incident that may happen. And when they don’t get an opportunity to do so, they simple make up stories.
Recently, Manish Tewari, the former information and broadcast minister, took to Twitter to spread false “news” about Father Uzhunnalil’s death at the hands of ISIS and blamed the government for playing communal politics.
This guy very aptly summed up Manish Tewari’s dirty political stance:
1. The government doing nothing to save a christian
2. Govt secures release of the ‘Christian’
3. @SushmaSwaraj reduced to cheerleader

Earlier in the year on 6th March, Father Uzhunnalil, a priest from Kerala, was abducted from his old-age care home after a deadly attack in the port city of Aden, in war-ravaged Yemen, by ISIS. However, due to initiative of the Indian government, Father Uzhunnalil has not only been released but has also safely reached Vatican, without paying a single penny as ransom to the terrorists.
Tewari on his social media account on 26th March 26 spread the news of the alleged ‘crucifixion’ of Father Uzhunnalil. Thinking that the Christian priest is dead, he also took his turn at taking a dig at the Indian government.
Six months later, external affairs minister Smt. Sushma Swaraj, on Twitter disclosed that the priest was safely got released from ISIS custody and had reached Vatican City.
Not being gracious and acknowledging his mistake, Manish Tiwari re-tweeting one of Sushma Swaraj’s tweet, trying to pick on her by being demeaning in saying how Swaraj has come to act as a “cheer leader” for Narendra Modi over the years.
