Forget IPL 2014 Fight Between Pollard And Starc, Miandad And Lillee Are The Real Fight Club Boys

Updated on 19 January, 2018 at 3:21 pm By

Keiron Pollard and Mitchell Starc gave everyone watching the IPL 2014 game between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore a shock by almost coming to blows. Their war of words and gestures had set a stage for a confrontation. But when Pollard moved away from the wicket while batting and Starc released his delivery almost aiming it at the West Indian, things went out of control. But this IPL 2014 fight pales in comparison to the one confrontation, described as the ugliest moment in cricketing history, when Australia’s legend Dennis Lillee kicked Pakistan’s mercurial batting great Javed Miandad making the latter swing his bat at the former during a Test match in October 1981. Pollard and Starc did not come to blows but the 1981 guys did. The entire episode happens in the first 2.30 minutes of this video.
