It seems choreographer-turned-filmmaker Farah Khan’s fascination for making stars gyrate to her energetic and stylish steps on a moving train is revived yet again.
After making megastar Shah Rukh Khan and the very gorgeous Malaika Arora dance to her exotic moves and grooves in the iconic song ‘Chaiyya Chaiyaa’ for Mani Ratnam’s film ‘Dil Se’, the choreographer has once again tried to recreate the same old magic for Vishal Bhardwaj’s upcoming film ‘Rangoon’.
In the latest song ‘Tipaa’, you can see the vibrant and vivacious Kangana Ranaut dancing to the content of her heart in a moving train.
After ‘Bloody Hell’, ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’ and ‘Mere Miyan Gaye England’, the brand new song from the movie seems to have all the trappings of a successful song, thanks to the brilliant choreography of Farah.
The song become all the more special as Farah, who very rarely choreographs for other filmmakers after turning director, made an exception to her golden rule and choreographs for another filmmaker after a long time.
When award-winning director Vishal Bhardwaj approached her to choreograph this special song for his movie, she could not say no. In fact, she was thrilled to work with him and choreograph a number which gives the audience another adrenaline rush of “dancing on the train” experience!
Also featuring Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor in prominent roles, the film is a love story set against the backdrop of World War II. Produced under the banners of Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, ‘Rangoon’ is poised for release on February 24, 2017.
