Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Is A Pop Singer In ‘Fanney Khan’, But Sings Well In Real Life Too! Here’s Proof

‘Fanney Khan’ teaser is finally out and its three main characters are ‘the singer’ Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, ‘the dreamer’ Anil Kapoor and ‘the narrator’ Rajkummar Rao. The one-minute trailer has got everyone super excited with the comeback of ‘Taal’ co-stars Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya. ‘Fanney Khan’ teaser starts with a voice over of Rajkummar Rao, who introduces the lead stars.

‘Fanney Khan’ marks the reunion of Aishwarya and Anil after a decade, and the duo were last seen together in the 2000 film ‘Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’.

 

 

The long awaited teaser introduces its lead actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan who plays a musician, and Anil Kapoor, who carries a trumpet and dreams on his shoulders.

 

 

The teaser begins with loud cheers for Fanney Khan and Rajkummar Rao’s voice decodes the name. Then enters the evergreen beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, but it’s 61-year-old Anil Kapoor whose passion is unmissable.

Two posters of the film featuring Anil Kapoor have been revealed until now and it shows pictures of late Bollywood legends Shammi Kapoor and Mohammad Rafi overlooking Anil Kapoor’s shoulders.

In the teaser, Rajkumar Rao talks about Aishwarya Rai who is playing a pop singer. This is the first look of her character which circulated on social media, few months ago:

 

 

When ‘Fanney Khan’ teaser was released, it was her doting husband Abhishek Bachchan, who tweeted excitedly about the same and called it “wonderful”. The best husband in the world?!

 

 

Also tweeting about the teaser was one of the lead protagonists himself, Anil Kapoor. He tagged a few people associated with ‘Fanney Khan’ in his post:

In ‘Fanney Khan’, one can’t miss Aishwarya Rai’s role as a sultry pop singer. It instantly remind us of her style in her last movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil‘ in which she successfully wooed Ranbir Kapoor as a poetess.

 

 

However, Aishwarya sings beautifully in real life too! Don’t believe it? She sang the song “Tere Hama Namah…” from her debut movie in this throwback video:
