In a shocking incident in Bagalkot, Karnataka, an ex-serviceman Nandappa, was repeatedly slapped by a cop while he was trying to get into a bank.
In the video, one can see that 55-year-old Nandappa is standing in a bank line when the alleged cop opens the bank gates.
While Nandappa tries to side-step him so as to enter the bank, the cop gets angry and starts repeatedly slapping him, forcing him out of the line.

As people stare in shock, Nandappa steps back in defence and looks around him for help.
Looking at the retired serviceman being mercilessly slapped by the cop, a man in the line tries to stop him and the cop walks away for a second, only to return back with more aggression.

But before he could harm Nandappa any further, many people step in between them, pacifying the cop till he walks away.
This entire act was caught on camera by a bystander.
While the name of the cop and exact location of the bank is not known, according to ANI News, the cop was later suspended for this act.
