A recent investigation into alleged fake admissions under Economically Weaker Section (EWS) quota, revealed that a student who was given admission under the quota in a private school in South Delhi, always traveled in a Jaguar, reports Indian Express.
In a recent development in the case, a police officer said:
“Investigators came to know that one student is a resident of Rajouri Garden and his father is a leading businessman. He always travelled in a Jaguar car and now police are planning to call them for questioning. We have now asked all private schools to check the address of students admitted through EWS quota and prepare a list.”
In a related development, Delhi Police’s Crime Branch brought kingpin Mukesh Sharma face-to-face with the principal of a leading private school in Rohini. Sharma had disclosed her name during an interrogation. Police have unearthed 55 fake admissions at the school.
