Remember how Malaika Arora Khan got slammed and trolled when a photographer posted her picture appreciating her style?
Yes, social media platforms have decreased the communication gap between celebs, politicians and a common man but it has also made the life of these big names terrible. People time and again troll, slam and lash out at them fearlessly.
Actress Esha Gupta has become the latest prey of social media bullying.
The actress’s upcoming film, ‘Baadshaho’ starring Vidyut Jamwal, Emraan Hashmi, Ajay Devgn and Illeana D’cruz was surrounded by controversy before its trailer was launched.
Since CBFC has gotten really active these days in cutting multiple scenes of the movies calling them “bold and inappropriate for the audience” Ajay Devgn was asked about the possibilities of receiving a backlash from the censor board, to which he replied,
At this point I don’t know where this story came from. We have definitely not made a porn film.
However, Instagram users have dragged the movie in yet another controversy. The former Miss India International 2007, Esha Gupta, who has also acted in films like ‘Humshakals’, ‘Jannat 2’ and many more, posted a gorgeous picture of herself on Instagram.
Unfortunately, the picture didn’t receive an overwhelming response. Instead of appreciating Esha, Instagrammers started posting graphic comments on her picture. Many called it a publicity stunt for her upcoming film.
Check out some of the reactions that Esha’s pic got:
Where Malaika chose to speak out against the trolls, Esha decided to ignore the insulting comments. However, the actress had to disable the comments that were posted on the picture so far. Malaika took a stand for herself and people came in her support but what happened this time? Do people use social media platforms just to slam others?
