What express us better than words? Actions? No. Emojis! It’s 2018 and people are getting addicted to their smartphones with every passing year. Texts, emails, and messages have become a part and parcel of our lives and so are the emojis. We use these little icons often, sometimes more than words to express our emotions and this is why a new and improved list of emojis has been released.
In the new emoji list for 2018, 157 new emojis have been added. This brings the total number of approved emojis to 2,823. Users can expect to see these new emojis on their phones in the second half of 2018. As announced by Unicode Consortium,
Emoji 11.0 marks the first time new components are available for hair color. Options are provided for red hair, curly hair, white hair, and baldness and these are available for use in sequences for men and women of any skin tone.
From emojis like redheads, curly hair, superheroes, softball, infinity, kangaroo to popular activities emojis such as sewing, knitting, lacrosse, and skateboarding you will be seeing all of these in the newly added lot. Take a look at the sample designs of the new emojis released by emojipedia:
