While most people including many B-town celebs workout only once a day, Disha hits the gym twice a day. This is because she believes that keeping oneself active through the entire day is a must for a fit body. For the cardio that she does in the mornings, Disha doesn’t like to sweat it out on the treadmill but instead goes for rigorous exercises like gymnastics and kickboxing.
In the evening, Disha Patani lifts weights for adding the final touch of perfection. Talking about her workout regime, she once said in an interview:
‘I work out every day and my routine usually involves cardio in the mornings, like dancing, kickboxing or gymnastics, and weight training in the evenings. I supplement that with a protein-carbs diet. The general assumption is that women working out involves cardio, not weight training. But we all work out and do heavy weights; I come across so many girls in the gym training really hard.’
According to her, a proper workout is a mix of cardio and weights. But it’s not just the workout that has helped her maintain the body she has. A strict diet routine also plays a significant role. Disha’s diet is full of protein, healthy carbohydrates, and green vegetables. The actress also makes sure to drink lots of water to keep her body hydrated all day long.
Though Disha Patani follows her workout and diet routine religiously, it does not mean she shy away from having cheat days. She has a cheat meal once every week which helps her keep cravings at bay and keeps her motivated. She says:
‘I absolutely love them; in fact, I wait for cheat days the whole week. Depending on the diet I am following and my shoot schedule, I sit down once a week and eat everything I can fit into my stomach.’
