As Sanju continues breaking all box-office records, the film’s director Rajkumar Hirani is at his career best high. Rajkumar Hirani, who became a household name with the success of Munna Bhai series, has aced the industry with his unique and interesting scripts. Like Munna Bhai, his films always have a realistic approach and create smashing records worldwide. ‘Sanju’ has now entered the Rs 500 crore bracket, making it the highest grosser of 2018.
While it may not be easy for anyone to make a biopic, only Rajkumar Hirani knows how to ace this talent. So much so, that when he decided to make a biopic on Bollywood’s original bad boy, it turned into the biggest hit.
After watching ‘Sanju‘ obsessively break most box-office records, the industry actors are also to keen to have a biopic directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
‘Sanju‘ is not only the biggest opener of 2018, but also earned the highest opening weekend grosser of 2018. At such a time, it was only imperative that superstar Salman Khan would approach the king of content!
Not many know, that director Rajkumar Hirani had already thought of a biopic called Sallu, with a tentative plot! But, the infamous black buck incident drenched all his hopes.
But Hirani was in for a surprise. Bhai aka Salman Khan, dismissed the idea and suggested him to make a biopic on brother Arbaaz Khan instead! Arbaaz, as we all know, isn’t as famous in films, but doesn’t lead a dud life either.
Perhaps Salman felt that Rajkumar will find Arbaaz Khan’s life compelling enough to make a biopic! He even suggested the title be called Hello Brother. According to Salman,”If there can be two Dons and Agneepaths, why can’t there be two Hello Brothers?”
Let’s not forget how Arbaaz Khan ruled the news charts lately – from losing film roles to wax statues, being involved in IPL controversies, or a infamous divorce, his life is no less complex.
As if this shock wasn’t enough for Hirani, Salman made another request – to star as Arbaaz in the biopic! It’s yet to be seen if the director succumbs to the idea, but this brotherhood is quiet interesting!
Not just Salman, even forgotten actors like Shiney Ahuja and Fardeen Khan have expressed desire to work with him. Shiney is as famous with maids as he’s with controversies, and Fardeen is the perfect fat poster.
